The Bamboo Chasen Matcha Whisk is skillfully handcrafted from one piece of unbroken bamboo and a simple bit of cotton string. The bamboo used to make a matcha whisk is often different, the most common being handcrafted from white bamboo. It is usually 2cm to 2.5cm thick and 9 cm to 12cm long. The whisk fine tines that extend from the handle were each painstakingly carved and shaped, all the while remaining full connected to the handle.
Move the Chasen back and forth evenly as if you are drawing the letter “M”. Whisk the Matcha until frothy, making sure to break up any small clumps of Matcha so the flavor is smooth and creamy. Brewing Method:
1. Use a wide mouthed mug tea bowl, place a bamboo tea whisk into the tea bowl and pour some warm water into soften the whisk and warm the bowl, then pour out the water and dry the bowl.
2. Using a bamboo scoop (Chashaku), place one scoop about 2 grams of Matcha power into the bowl. 3. Pour one quarter about 70~80ml of a cup of hot, but not boiling water (80~85℃) over the Matcha.
4. Whisk the mixture with bamboo whisk to completely disperse the Matcha. This should take between 20 ~30 seconds (Less time is needed if the Matcha is sifted prior to used).
5. Enjoy your Matcha.

We ship worldwide. All orders are shipped from Shanghai via China Post Service by International Air Mail. Upon receiving payment we will ship immediately in 1-3 business days. We are unable to ship to APO’s, FPO’s or P.O. Boxes.
l Please note Shipping fee is based solely upom the actual weight of the items and packing (box, warp, etc.). Our shipping charges include packaging, handling, shipping and insurance. Expedited Shipping
10 days shipping via air options are available. Prices are depended upon order weight and destination. Please contact us for a shipping quote. (Please note that expedited shipping is not available on wholesale or bulk orders.)
Tracking Number
Tracking numbers is not available for these orders sent via China Postal airmail and SAL. Please note delivery time is approximate and may vary depending on location and customs regulations. Only orders shipped via EMS are given tracking numbers, we will send the tracking numbers to you via e-mail.
Customs
Customers may be subject to import duties and taxes. We will, however, only charge you for the purchase price, shipping and handling for your item(s). Any additional customs charges must be paid for by you.
Shipping Damages & Loss
Orders over 100 are insured to protect against shipping damage and loss by the carrier. Customers are given the option to receive an exact item or refund. Inspect all orders immediately upon arrival. Within 72 hours of receipt, tell us the damages. If it has been over 40 days since your order date and it has not been received, contact us immediately, we will come in contact with our carriers and help solve it. If the items were lost in delivery, we promise send another one or refund your purchase, please allow up to 15 days for resolution. For non-insured orders, we can provide you with proof of shipping confirmation number to contact your local post office.

Return Policy
l Return/ Exchange unwanted products within 3 days of receipt. Shipping will not be refunded for returns on unwanted items and exchanged products may be charged a shipping fee. We do not accept returns on any used product. Items must be returned in original packaging and in resale condition.
l We guWe will send another one (with like product) of refund and defective product within 3 dyas of customer receipt. Shipping will be reimbursed for the return and change of defective items. No refunds are made for sentimental losses or for any expenses incurred as a refult of the loss.
Return Procedure
l All returns must have a Return Authorization to be accepted and processed. If you need to return or exchange products for any reason please contact us. State the order number, and reason for the return. We cannot be responsible for items shipped back to us without pre-approval.
l You will receive e-mail confirmation when your return is received and processed. To file a claim send us a picture of the damaged item. With the original packaging, via e-mail within 3 days of the receipt of your item.
l Returned items must be received and inspected by us.
