These tender buds of the tea are steamed and not dried as in black or green teas. White Peony is made from just the unopened silvery buds and two tender leaves. It is picked in spring and gently withered to yield a refreshing, easy-drinking tea, full of soft fruit flavors and melon notes with a lingering sweet aftertaste. The USDA has certified that this tea has been grown with organic farming methods with on chemical pesticides used in cultivation.
